Most people in blockchain arrived during a hype cycle. I arrived before there was one.

The instinct to build showed up early: in 2008, as an undergraduate, I founded my first venture — a software incubator. In 2011, while developing a cryptographic program to manage debit-card security at Scotiabank, I came across the Bitcoin codebase and went deep, and I've spent every year since converting that early conviction into shipped products — across DeFi, crypto, and Fortune-1 enterprise.

A builder in blockchain since 2011.

One of the few who has worked credibly across crypto, DeFi, and enterprise — from protocol-genesis investments to production systems at Fortune-1 scale.

Most people in blockchain arrived during a hype cycle. I arrived before there was one.

In 2011, while developing a cryptographic program to manage debit-card security at Scotiabank, I came across the Bitcoin codebase — and went deep. I recognized immediately that the technology reached far beyond currency, into the foundations of how value and trust move.

At RBC I also led one of the industry's earliest Apple Pay integrations, working with Visa, MasterCard, and Interac. But it was blockchain that captured me — and that conviction became a career.

The rare combination

Built on both sides.

Crypto-native credibility and enterprise rigor are usually found in different people. The whole point of my work is that they're found in one.

Participated in the Ethereum and Polkadot ICOs at the protocol-genesis level. Authored one of the first developer-level Ethereum / Solidity courses. Today CTO at RockWallet: a self-custodial wallet, the MNEE USD-backed stablecoin, and an integrated exchange — built with compliance and customer control native to the product.
